Initial Oral Examination
Your initial oral examination includes a visual examination, charting, periodontal probing, diagnosis and treatment recommendations. We will also take x-rays, which includes the panoramic x-ray for proper diagnosis of the anterior (front) and posterior (back) teeth as well as the bite-wing x-ray series for proper diagnosis of proximal decay of posterior teeth.

Implants
Implants are synthetic structures that are placed in the area of the tooth normally occupied by the root. Digital Charts and Electronic X-Rays
To better serve our patients, Great Smiles Dentistry utilizes a completely electronic charting system for all patients. This electronic charting system increases speed of care and gives us more time to spend with our patients. Additionally, the electronic charting system is  supplimented by our Digital X-ray system, providing us with access to X-ray images of our patients mouths at a lower radiation exposure.
